Application & Recommendation

Whereas Rock Chemie is main manufacturer of Di-methyl siloxane 100% as base material for any antifoams, Rockapon FAE-1830 is mainly provided to emulsify the product or such another grades of other companies.

PROCEDURE OF MAKING EMULSION

1- Charge 1 parts of Rockdefoam DMS-100 into Vessel.

2- Add 2 parts of Rockapon FAE-1830

3. Mix it for a while to uniform

4. Add certain quality of DM water to obtain desired pct of defoamer emulsion after 2-3 hours

5. Add 0.1% preservative.

Please note:

  • Water must be demoralize water
  • No need to any heating , but if you want to heat ,the temperature must not be more than 45°C
  • Stir rpm must not be more than 45-55, the viscosity and power of defoamer emulsion will be affected accordingly.
  • If you do not add water into the mixed defoamer and emulsifier, it will separates after sometimes, hence you can not present 100% solid.
  • If you want to increase solid content of emulsion, you can add. Urea or DEG.
