Application & Recommendation |
|
|
|
|
Rockapon
PFA-1620 can be used to prepare a broad range of commercial emulsion polymers
including acrylics, vinyl-acrylics and styrene-acrylics. Such polymers find
application in latex paints, adhesives paper coatings and textiles. Rockapon PFA-1620 is typically converted to
its salt form (sodium, ammonium, amine) for use in
emulsion polymerization. This is usually done in-situ by neutralization of
the diluted phosphate ester with the desired base. Films of polymers made
with Rockapon PFA-1620 exhibit enhanced corrosion resistance and
superior heat and light stability, which makes them especially desirable for
metal coating applications. |
